Simcoe/Waterford/Delhi Last month, in the Simcoe/Waterford/Delhi area, we gave a three day supply of groceries and $8550.00 in food store gift cards, to178 families, having a total of 516 adults and children. Three times each week, the Community Kitchen provided 50 individuals, with a full course meal and the opportunity to socialize with their peers and our volunteers.
That amounted to over 700 meals enjoyed by our guests in the past month. The collection for the month of February was $1824.00 at St Bernard’s, $1377.00 at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, and $2525.00 at St Mary’s. We received funds &/or food from The Norfolk 4H Club and Lynn Valley Lions Club & Holy Trinity High School.
Income tax receipts for funds given to Simcoe/Delhi/Waterford St Vincent De Paul in 2023 have been mailed out. If you were expecting one and have not yet received it, please call the parish office, giving them your telephone number and we will get back to you.
