To altar serve as a child we ask that you meet the following criteria:

• have received the sacrament of First Holy Communion and are currently in grade 3 or above

• Possess a level of maturity which makes the server feel comfortable working on the altar in front of the church audience 

• have completed a training session (which happen throughout the year or can be arranged)

• have a parental permission form signed and submitted to the office

• a willingness to perform all duties with a joyful heart

• Attend mass regularly we ask for a commitment of one serving assignment per month (this helps servers retain the serving tasks and procedures)

• dress in a modest and respectful manner
